Completeness, in one word.

If you have the original chassis, full body, all the seats, liftgate and tailgate there and working, you are 90% home.

All the mechanicals on the 1/2 and 3/4 ton are fully interchangeable with the other, similar trucks (OK, 3/4 ton rear propshaft but who's counting?) and if that engine can be fixed it wont look very different from the original.

Watch for annoying stuff too, like stuck side window winders (DONT FORCE THEM)and rust round the middle bodyline where it is difficult to fix.

Floor and roof replacement no real problem, even making the seats if they are missing. If the lift and tailgates aren't there then there's a big price reduction needed.
