.... is the place to be. Go to the DISCUSSION link and ask for Russ Morgan.

All you need to know about these things;

1.Weasels are good, but even the very newest tracks made in Norway some years ago are usually very tired.

2. The prototype Weasel used 18" tracks and they are impossible to find, so the condition of the tracks on your potential purchase is even more important that usual. You can buy / borrow track plates from Allis Chalmers M7 snow tractor owners, as these rare machines used shorter versions of the same 18" tracks.

3. Low oil pressure when hot is common, so is poor steering brough on by badly adjusted trake brakes. In fact they are steering brakes rather than track brakes, and the steering rods were made hollow deliberately so that owners wouldn't overstress them.

4. Value? exactly the same as the equivalent WW2 jeep in identical condition, with the exception that if even one track is damaged the rest of it is barely worth having (allow me a little exaggeration here...)

5. There's no Dodge bits on them, except some gauges and stuff will interchange with T214 3//4 ton 12 volt stuff from Command and Carryall (obligatory Dodge content)

6. Did I mention the track condition was important?
