Be careful with those saws - I've seen firsthand the power of those things.

Thankfully noone got hurt, but when out cutting slabwood with my Dad one time (probably 20 years ago now - WOW, time flies) - he had one of those saws hooked up to his John Deere MT and was being very careful to stay away from the blade.

As he was following through on one cut his snugly-fitting leather work glove finger got snagged by a bolt retainer on the outside of the blade and it QUICKLY pulled the glove right off of his hand. Heard this SNAP and it was gone, all in one piece, just wrapped around the shaft - we just kind of looked at each other for a couple of seconds and kept going with the wood. To this day, I can't figure out how it didn't pull him right into the saw. (Better said: I can't figure out how that angel got his hand out of the glove without me seeing him! The Lord was looking out for us that day)
