It would only really apply to the Dodges built in Canada for the Commonwelath forces during the war, but I can't say I've ever looked. I've never, ever seen an old Dodge with a left hand external doorlock regardless of where it came from, but we never had the 'slide across and get out the passenger's side' idea at all.
I have seen (and owned) a couple of 4 x 2 chassis that were set up for RH steering boxes by having extra holes in, and I've seen the awkward mechanism that takes the starter pedal push from the RH position across to the starter (in the ordinary location) but never a LH lock.
