I never had any time for the vacuum units, but then I stumbled across some NOS units whilst combing Europe for bits.

If you can find NOS vacuum wipers they will work perfectly and break your fingers is you try to stop them, but I've never heard of anyone getting realy good results with a rebuild.

I've seen a few European electric wipers - they are all rubbish, except the (American) Bosch unit I have on the Sno-Cat but that's 12v
