Hi Tom, In 1995 while at the Rocky Mt. Rondezvous in Como CO. I met a local guy in Fairplay. His daly wheels was a WC-51. It had a great example of a Govt. hard top. I took some pictures of it because it was the first one I had ever seen and as it turns out the only one I have ever seen. It was a slick cab. There was a data plate on the inside of the passenger door. I just dug the pictures out and the plate reads as follows: CLOSURE, HARD TOP, FOR TRUCK, 3/4 TON, 4X4, WEAPONS CARRIER Oneida Products Corp. Canastota, New York Contract NO. DA-20-089-ORD-13957 FS Serial NO.1064 DATE 10 51 ORDNANCE PART NO. 7720793 It was in really nice shape. Burgandy in color. If it was painted the plate had been taken off and put back. The next year we were back there and this guys business was closed and no one new anything about him. It was a small town. It was like he and the truck vanished and never had been there. But there are pictures. Must have been made for Korea since a lot of WC 3/4 tons went before the M37s showed up. That's all I know. One other person to chk. with would be Fred Coldwell. He was there and saw this one also. He has seen all and knows all. I am not worthy. Lyle
