earlier I asked the question on what was the best product to replace rusted throught metal on the windshield frame. Now I have another question. Since the windshield frame is hollow, what is the best way to treat and seal the rust on the inside of the "tubular" parts of the windshield frame. I was thinking of bead blasting the outside, then cemically nuetralize the rust on the inside and then fill the inside with a product like POR-15. The only thing I am worried about is if I don't stop the rust on the inside of the hollowed frame, the rust will return!
Any suggestions or advice would be great! I don't want to do this again in five year and then have to repair a repair!!!
