Command Cars came with 12 Volt components (other than the Blackout Drive light) They came this way for the BIG 12 volt AM radio systems they had. You can get a 12 volt starter from one, or use your 6 volt one (it may last forever) till it dies. Regards WAW
PS: The Radio version of the Command Car was 12volt (WC 57-58) My WC 56 was also 12 volt and equipped with radio's. Not sure if ALL 56/57/58's came with 12v from the factory, but I assume they did, as my dash is cut for the guage and switch from there (Too clean to be retrofit I think) WAW
