Your problem is probably related to improper adjustment. Check the anchor screws and eccentrics to make sure they are in good condition. I had a bad one which wouldnt hold and vibrated loose. This allowed the piston to burst through the end of the wheel cylinder. Very scarry. It took me awhile to fiquere out that problem. We all have discouraging moments with these trucks.
