Vaughn. Like David, i have a 1950. In fact, I just purchased it and, ironically, I've already purchased parts from David. Question, my truck is a later model year and apparently has the same tranny Dave is talking about. When going into third, you have to hit it just right or it grinds like hell. I've got the technic pretty well down, but is this something I should be concerned about. I noted that you kind of questioned Dave for replacing his with an earlier model year unit.
