Is there are way to detect a cracked block without dissambly?

I have a slant 6 that is showing signs of water in the oil.

Yanking the head and looking would be no big deal except for the
pain in the but manifold bolts and washers.

Other than looking for cracks, is there a technique I am not aware of?
UV lights, radar, MRI, etc.... :-)
