I installed 12V American Bosch motors in My 67 WM300. They LOOKED to be in good condition; clean, no problems inside, good
brushes, etc. When I power them up, smoke and FLAMES come
out of the brushes on both motors. (I had the covers off).
as they run. I only did this for a few seconds, as the flames
didn't seem to be enhancing the motors finish, plus they got
real hot.
Question: is there a resister I am missing or what? It seems like way too much juice is getting to the motors. This
truck had vacuums originally.
