I have a 76 W-200, full-time 4X4 naturally, it appears the front driveshaft has decided to do funny things, tore it apart with the intention of putting in u-joints. On the carden joint, it appears that ther is, or I should say was a spring and ball assembly etween the joints with part of it being part of the shaft itself. I had been expierecing a vibration at hiway speeds which leads me to think I should of checked it out long ago, was also getting low mileage from the front u-joint. Can this shaft be fixed? If so, any ideas by who? Or does anyone have a shaft for sale at a reasonable price? Might there be an interchange for it. Thanks in advance
