Hey Tom,

I hear what you're saying. I also think the vehicle needs to fit the needs of the person. The "perfect" truck or other vehicle varies depending on the person. I also like vehicles that are over-built, and can handle whatever situation comes along. Having said that, I drive an F-150 as my daily vehicle, and it certainly won't handle everything I would ever want to throw at it, because it's only a 1/2-ton and because it's only 2wd, and it doesn't have a powerhouse engine for towing heavy things, but hey, it's reliable so far, and it's paid for.

Like you, I tend to gravitate toward used vehicles, but like Norm, I sometimes think that I would like to own something brand new, so I won't have to worry about how the previous owner treated it. Right now, my stage in life keeps me in the used vehicle arena.

Thanks for your input!

Matt
