How about buying a good used Cummins?
You could buy a nice First Gen truck like mine with 150K for cheap.
Actually, Dan Shockley has an awesome First Gen truck he was selling with super low mileage...50K?
Don't remember the price but it was round about $25,000 less than a 2004 with basically the same engine...just a tad louder!
Wouldn't that do everything you need?
