No info here but this is a mystery I've had for years. My 65 WM has a notch hacked out of the firewall or the sloped floor under the pedals to allow for brake pedal travel. I always wondered why the notch, who put it there. So perhaps it's because I have an earlier pedal on my later truck. This would also explain why the new brake pedal pivot shaft I got from VPW years ago didn't fit and had to have the diameter reduced on a lathe to fit the pedal I had? This may be new ground for the forum, I don't recall a brake pedal discussion before, but I can't remember where I stored that missing part either. I need a WM 251 pedal too! BTW, my clutch pedal was modified too, strenghtened by adding a heavy rod at the sharp bend. I wonder if it ever broke?
