I never have done the math but the '01 cummins I have been driving has done a low of 15.7 in almost strictly town driving and several tanks on a trip of nearly 23. The trip mileage was with only about 3,000 miles on the engine so was not really broken in. No V8 gas rig (BB's and SB's) I have owned over the years have come close to that. I did manage to pull 15 with the PW (450)on a couple of tanks during a trip but I never went over 55 and I had my eyes glued to the vacum gauge so I did not pull the metering rods to the rich portion anymore than I had to.
