This is my last comment on the subject...if 360 equipped Dodges get the kind of mileage that you would need to be factoring to come up with those numbers, I strongly suggest buying a Ferd 5.4 Triton truck because even my 99 Crew Cab would get 20 MPG running empy. I've never had a Dodge 360 so I can't say but I'm assuming a 2004 fuel injected 360 will get simillar mileage to the 5 year old Ford technology.
According to Todd bellow he says his 9 year old Dodge with 360 gets 18MPG on the highway so have they not improved in a decade?
I believe Todd...he seems rather frugal with his money & strikes me as the kind of guy that keeps pretty close tabs on such things.
That being said, how are you making up the difference in 50K?
I don't think you'd ever make up the difference if you're comparing it with a 2004 Ford 5.4 Triton & your not counting on running loaded a good percent of the time.
