Any radio or TV station with any common sense should use the old "seven-second delay" feature, even if the program is one of it's own making. Live performances can result in any number of embarrassments, ranging from inadvertant blunders, injuries, burps, farts, etc, that might offend, to the premeditated boob-flashing of lowlife scum like the Jackassons.
This delay technique has fallen by the wayside of broadcasting, with the exception of the call-in shows that cater to the lunatic fringe.
It didn't offend me, by the way, nor, I suspect, did it offend the other several million red-blooded, male heterosexuals who do, of course, make up 90% of the football viewing audience.
It seems like they are trying to make a mountain of out a, uh...well, some sort of little hill.
