You were close! Take a look on this Forum at "Best of Forum." The link to the section on 6V to 12V is closer to the bottlm of the list. Vintage Power Wagons offers a complete kit of everything needed. The list appears in their catalog. Almost all of the componants in this kit are available right from your local parts store except for the alternator bracket. Theirs is nice and a perfect fit, but could be made at home with a welder and some experience. Good Luck, Bruce
