I escaped from California many years ago, but I am under the impression that if a vehicle did not come with turn signals when it was manufactured, you don't need them now. Here in North Idaho we prefer to have turn signals to prevent our arms being frozen while signaling in the winter or broken off by a log truck.
Electric wipers would always be better, in my opinion. JH
