Thanks for the support and product loyalty! If I were the mean sadistic bastard DC claims me to be I would encourage Glen to make brake sets and watch him go broke! DO ANYTHING FOR CHEVY OR FORD AND YOU WILL PROSPER (true story)!!!! The rule that I try to follow when designing and marketing something for the PWs is wether or not someone else is making it already. As an example our website page for the 61-71 PS is blank. The reason is that a Canadian co. (Prototech Services www.prototechservices.ca ) beat us to it. Their design is excellent at a reasonable price so we promote their product whenever someone askes us for PS. If I ever get around to updating the site I will put pics of thier products on our site as well. There is not enough market for Dodge truck conversions to support competition. BTW if any of you have a product you are making for the Dodges email me photos and info and I will put it on our website.
I know someone who makes one brake conversion item for old Chevies and sells $100,000 a year. I barely make 1/5th that from all I make for PWs combined! The main problem for Glen is that there will not be enough demand for dual rear brakes to support the development costs even for a small shop. Owners will just keep the rear drums and put our discs on the front. If he makes a set like ours for the front he will find that we have already saturated the market over the last 7 years. As DC pointed out we now have a large lot of hubs so I will be making another run of sets again in about a month. I would suggest that if you need any of our kits you should let me know by email so I know how many to make as this might be the last run we do for a while.
