I'm checking with a buddy who has a large machine shop about making kits based off the helitool design. These would be essentially exact duplicates and have possible minor changes to allow the deep offset Budd wheel to be used as an inner dual. From what I've read there seems to be some interferance between the caliper and wheel rivets when a dual rim is used as the inboard dual. This idea to have kits made available is in its early stages and my friend is trying to judge how much demand there would be to take on the project. His shop already makes parts for some very well known companies that demand the highest quality product. The quality of the kits would be as good if not better than the Helitool parts or they wouldn't be made. How many truck owners are willing to put in a tentative order?
