The parts manuals are a little sketchy (as usual) but here is what I found:

Manuals from 1946 through 1951 (B-3-PW) show Right mat 1095 997, and left mat 1095 998.

The 1953 parts manual still shows these mats for the older trucks but with the addition of a new one, 1280 379, for the B-3PW and B-4-PW after serial #83926253 Det. built, & #88766990 S.L. built. This appears to be a single mat covering the whole floor. The serial numbers indicate that the change took place almost at the very end of the 1951 model year.

The 1954 parts manual agrees with the 1953 manual.

The 1956 parts manual indicates another part number change to 1669 116 after serial #83949001, a whole 5,000 serial numbers into the 1955-56 C-3-PW model run. The older numbers are still listed for trucks up to that point, so this indicates that this new number represents a whole new part and not just a renumber. This new mat also appears to be one which covers the whole floor. Could this new mat come into use when the transmission changed from the "after type" to the NP420? The transmission tower is certainly positioned further forward than the earlier transmissions. This would necessitate a change in the floor mat.

The 1957 parts manual only lists parts numbers for the 1957 trucks (W-300) and only shows the mat number 1669 116.

All parts manuals from 1958 on, also list only floor mat number 1669 116 for the W-300-M and WM300 trucks.
