Something to think about is axle construction. 1/2 ton uses lighter bearing/brakes etc. to acheive that car-like ride.
I'm sure Paul could tell you of some willy-nillys out on the highway even with his rig.
We talked about that at at our MV club meeting how PW's, Mil. and civilian, are really heavy to be towing around to shows etc.
