i once rodded out a radaiter in my backyard for my 74 2x4. i took some drop(scrap pieces that were very thin 18 guage sheetmetal.and used that to rod it out and resoldered the toptank. it worked fine and it is still on the road.a guy i worked with who used to own a radaiter shop looked at me knda funny and grinned.he said well that is basicialy what we do except i charge more. steve
