If the 91 has the 727 transmission (no overdrive), then it was not factory intercooled. It would have been equipt with the 3.07 axle gears and is reffered to as an "early 91". That is what I have and I don't have any problem with it. I added an intercooler when I made a bunch of other mods, but I sure wouldn't let that scare you away.
