Trailer axles

Does anyone have experience using mobile home axles to build a car trailer. They certainly have the weight capacity, and at $75 per axle, including springs, tires, brakes etc. seem hard to beat. OK, now burst my bubble! (Mandatory Dodge content- this trailer will be used for my Power Wagon.)
