I think one way that you can get a little closer to it is by casting dates and other stamped dates on the truck.

Another way is to request build tickets from Chrysler but that gets expensive.

My PW titled as 52 has nothing but '51 date stamps on it (except for replaced partes). Both headlights have date stamps of Feb 22, 1951 so that is the earliest it could have been made. The VIN number is approximately 1/2 way through the '51 numbers that are listed in this site. Using the above information I have concluded that it is a mid-year '51 truck that was most likely built in the earlier part spring '51. March to April would be my best guess.

I do not believe that you can get a hard date without a build card which are available for trucks up to 1950.
