I reckon any of these trucks with a winch is twice the vehicle it is without it, yet as has been pointed out the hard cab half ton didn't come from the factory with a winch, so that one at least has some non-original content.
Basically you just have to decide - truck with non-original winch or truck without. if you can do it I'd recommend keeping both at least until your restoration of one was nearly complete.
