I picked up my first M37 with a U-haul tandem axle trailer and an F250 pickup. It JUST fit width wise with stock NDT tires. Had to put the tire straps over the axles, they wouldn't fit over the tires.
It towed ok, but I wouldn't recommend a long trip with that set up.
National Rentals rents a nice tandem axle equipment trailer that is better suited for the job, and not much more $. I'd check with them or another equipment rental yard in your area.
