I tried to get my Dad to buy a spread out there in 76 or 77 I don't quite recall. There was maybe a half dozen houses at that time. But my Dad being the cheap guy that he was decided to buy in Boynton.
When he finally left Florida about fiften years later he sold his house for about twice what he paid for it. If he had bought in Wellington he probably could have sold for 5 to 8 times what it would have cost.
