I have been through this conversion a couple of times and the hardest part is transfering the holes for mounting of transfer case cross member as it sits at an angle. Some holes for shifter mounting bracket, shorten rear drive shaft and a few other minor changes. The axles will bolt up and steering, shocks and most everything else just bolts on, assuming your using the stock 1961-71 drive train parts. Personally I would stick with NP 201 transfer case, 3/4 T. Dana 60 w/power loc and 3,500# [ big knuckle] front end. I pulled a Dana 44 Power loc out of the rear of an older IH Scout and put in the front. I hope this helps. John
