I think these 4wd trucks were pretty useful, and were kept around longer then the average.

Here is an example:

Total of 59 W100s in all body styles made in both 108" and 116" WB, V8 and FH6 was 1035.

Total I can think of off the top of my head, 40-50.

I can't believe that I know of more then a tiny fraction of the trucks that are out there, and every month or so I learn of more. Heck I dragged two around on my last trip.

52 is about 5%, and if I talked with a few other people I am sure I could come up with another 50 or so, which gives us 10% of production.

There have to be unknown trucks just laying out in the weeds all over the place, so if you figure my friends and I know of 30% of what is left (which I would consider optimistic, there are a lot of bushes out there hiding trucks), then there are 300 trucks left, and that is 30% of production.

That is a number I would believe, given the regularity at which these trucks appear.

Now of course if you are talking about running driving trucks, and not just a frame with a cab and a door tag, then yes I would be willing to bet it is 2% of production!

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Eric
