I have a Tormek grinder and you can't get a better edge as fast as you can with one of these. I can put an edge on my pocket knife or any other knife for that matter that will save the hair on the back of my hand. It will do about anything with an edge with the proper attachment. I sharpened a pair of large tin snips that would slice thru sheet metal like cutting fabric. I sharpen for others for a price also to help recover the cost of the unit.
