I think I know where I was getting confused. I did not take into account that the supercharger was probably delivering 3000 CFM of BOOSTED air. The boost was probably above 40lbs so it makes a little more sense to me now. Thank you for the clarification.
Lets see now. Air pressure at 14.5 lbs/sq in at sea level plus 40 lbs/sq in boost = 54.5 lbs/sq in total pressure. 3000 CFM flow devided by 60 seconds = 50 CFS of 54.5 lbs/sq in pressure. That makes more sense. Thanks.
