Finally winter is here in southern WA. Got below zero, close to 3' of snow at my place and it's still coming down. Finally had to start chaining things up. Yesterday was a 12 hour shift thawing pipes, skipped lunch and had one coffee break. Boss says it's the first time in 5 years the pipe-thawing equipment has been used.
Saw a beautiful PW plowing snow in Hood River, OR yesterday. Looks to be a W400 or W500, about a '64 judging from the grill, I think it has Rockwell axles. Big plow up front, box on back, stands tall. I need to take my camera and go talk to the guys at the city shop...
