Buy a copy of John Zentmter's 1982 book TM9-1808C "Dodge Power Trains and Interchanges, etc." available from the MVPA, VPW, and others. See ¶ 5.2(b)(3) on page 22 describing Detroit locker model KS-22A installed during WW II in 500 WC-62/63 trucks.

This is an excellent book on WC/PW drive train history & interchanges, and is heartwarming wintertime reading. The information is as relevant today was it was 22 years ago, and it doesn't change with time. A Classic book that belongs on the book shelf of every WC & PW owner, modifer and updater.
