Eight days and many miles, Hunter and I got home last night about 10pm. After spending the last eight days in the South at 70 to 81 degree's (shorts and t-shirts) -4 at home was quite a shock. Many thanks go out to Sam and John in Aubry for their hospitality (as always!)
I missed quite a few Texans while we were down there, missed BZ by 10 min and Talked with Mac quite a bit but never hooked up for one reason or another. Gidget and Paul had to take a back seat to a transmission acting up!
Darn ford's! Transmission slipping as I pulled into BZ's place coming back from the coast (Smoked my transmission in the black ford last time so I had the wife's truck this time!) I'm thinking the worst as I ease back into the interstate and limp back to Dallas, turns out a burned out bulb in my taillight caused the electric tranny to act up and everything was ok?
Paul smoked me on Gordons forum for not stopping by (thanks Paul! it was very funny!)
I missed John and Cheryl from MN when they were down there and my boy freaked out when he saw a dead jelly fish (thank you Disney animation "Finding Nemo" for scareing the crap out of Hunter thinking the dead jelly fish would hurt us!)
All and all a long trip, came home with two new toys and thoughts of moving down next to Dwight and Kim, I hear there's a house nearby for sale ;) The weather was great (until we got back into KS)
Now on to Ogden, eh Marty?
