Your right, wind chill doesn't even really come up in conversations up here. When you start talking wind chills of -110 it gets alittle silly. The primary thing with wind chill is the rate at which your engine goes from 190 to -50 (actual temp not wind chill). This is hard on them and headers, intakes, etc. Shock cooling, lots of cracks. Another thing we do is boot oil lines going to oil pressure guages with marvel mystery oil or hyd oil. Sometimes the regular oil will get so stiff in the small line you won't get a pressure reading for a real long time, so we boot the line from the engine to the guage with something that don't get so thick.
