They are a small, glue on, orange pad. We use them on aircraft engines to heat the case and the oil pan. I glued them on the oil pan, tranny, and t-case, with high temp silicone. Alot of guys will put one under the battery and heat it. I don't worry much about the battery since I went with gell cells. We get them here at NAPA. I will get the industry name for them and e-mail it to you with part numbers.
