The radiator changed in 1961 when the WM300 got the 251 cu in engine. I am not sure if the two cores are the same. I had a 1948 B1PW radiator repaired and recored not too long ago. These old style double crimp radiators are not as easy to recore as more modern radiators. Take your radiator to an old well established shop that has experienced repairmen. If you take it to a place that has teenagers working there they will either throw up their hands, or worse yet destroy your top & bottom tanks. You may have to help the shop locate the core. I purchased the core and took it to the shop. The shop was a one man old time shop out in the sticks. He has a 1953 Plymouth, a M37 Dodge, and some Farmall tractors he has restored. He is a craftsman. Select your radiator shop carefully.
