Contact several of your local petroleum dealers, companies selling bulk oils and fuels, etc., to business. They will have parts cleaning solvent available in bulk, purchased by the gallon. Have it pumped into a 55 gallon drum and take it home in the back of your truck. Use a hand pump to get it from the barrel into your parts cleaner.

The common solvent is the same sort of thing as dry cleaning fluid, and that is also what you get in a can of spray brake cleaner, though apparently these chemicals can vary in their volatility, meaning their rate of evaporation.

It is a very good idea to keep your parts cleaner lid shut when not in use, because even the automotive cleaner will tend to evaporate, making it go a way.

I think you will find the price reasonable.

Proper disposal of any solvent, in today’s world, becomes more problematic.
