Please do not take offense to fact that the moderators of the A-100 site on Yahoo now require a completed profile before accepting you as a member.
I have been a member of this group from near the beginning of its existence, and like the Power Wagon Forum, we have a really great group of guys. Not nearly as much interaction
as this site, but it is ever increasing
as the membership grows. ( I think it is over 400 members now)
As with any group, we have had our share of difficulty with spam, viruses, and pop-ups.
Keep in mind that the main method of communication is via e-mail which makes us even more vulnerable to the above. We took a poll within the membership, and the concensus was to require the completed profile as a way to police some of the crap that was occuring. Seems to have worked pretty well thus far as the problems have ceased...at least as far as I see. As an added bonus, the moderators have been able to boot a few really rude guys from the group.
