But make sure it's still positive ground 6 volt. Many were switched to 12 volt neg ground like my B1 was. I couldn't understand why a bat charged to 6 volts did nothing to start it. The old siren on the fender was labled 6 volt so my infinite wisdom figured the truck was still 6 volt. They must have rewired the siren or something.
