Think of a driveshaft as if it were a hand crank- as on many machines, or even a crank for starting a flat fender. The tranny shaft and the pinion shaft are the 2 parralell parts- the shaft and the handle. As you turn the crank, if the handle isn't parralell to the shaft, it wil wobble in your hand, causing 'vibration'. Also, the angularity will remain the same anywhere on the cricle enscribed by the handle- I.E.,as the 'handle' moves around the pinion, it will swing almost to the centered output shaft of the transfer case, making only a slight difference in the angle of the U joints.
