Most Alaskan transplants are uppers sp?(pronounced you’-pers), cheeseheads or Minsotain's. Californians can't seem to get used to us wanting to shoot wolves that are pleasure killing our moose, trap beaver (overgrown rat), or that a majority of us carry concealed weapons and don't need a permit to do so. For some reason they think it's disgusting that about 25 percent of my neighbors don't have running water and still use an outhouse. I myself have running water but I have to haul it in the back of my truck. It is 2003 right? Nope ain’t seen no fornian’s just yet. Not that they wouldn’t be welcomed, just as long as they don’t whine the first time they see 48 below.
