I have got it dissasembled now. I started to blast the frame, but realized I needed a better compressor. Now I am saving for an adequate one. I have the engine out, and am going to have a machinist hot tank it and inspect it although it has good compression, etc.
Did you buy it from the fire dept? Did it have a tank on the back, etc? Is the extra tranny a NP420 for an M-37?
I think Rob bought a flatfender out of Michigan that was in fairly good shape. He told me he realized he just did not have time to do a restoration, so he sold the 52 to me for a more drivable one.
