You got that right, no way I was going to let the day pass without bringing it home. Still wasn't sure until it was in my driveway. Had to stop on the way there to get a brake controller, and install that at the firehouse. Wasn't going anywhere until I knew I had brakes. The DMV thing is interesting, need a birth cert to change my name, and can't find that so now I'm off to Danbury vital records to prove who I am. How do I do that, with a photo drivers license? I feel like I'm practicing identity theft. Can't change it until after Feb, have air tickets with my name matching my license. If I change, then I'm in trouble with the airport. In the meantime truck will be registered in Maureen's name. Yet another benefit of being married! (The old fashioned way.) Did I mention I lost the plate off the trailer, bracket rusted and broke maybe when it dragged? So now another DMV chore.
