Until now, the Museum has concentrated on "flat fenders" only. A W500 is not just another W series POWER WAGON and it really got my attention.
This truck was auctioned off one mile from the Museum and the bid I had to beat was $500.
Since it came from the VFD that will be called to save the Museum and my house, I made a much higher bid as a donation to the VFD.
It's an awfully big truck. I'm just over 5'10" and the DODGE nameplate on the front of the hood is level with my eyes.
